House of Commons Treasury Select Committee Enquires into Money Advice Service

MP’s Treasury Select Committee announce enquiry into the role of Money Advice Service. DRF is responding on behalf of their members to the enquiry.

Dear Member,

As you know the FSA levy-funded government agency the Money Advice Service, is taking over responsibility for publicly funded debt advice and also plans to have a role in providing access to debt advice. The future of MAS will surely affect every DRF member’s future too.

Today, the MP’s Treasury Select Committee has announced an enquiry into the role of MAS. DRF plans to respond to this on your behalf and, to that end, we are seeking your views. To enable DRF to submit our response by the 1 June deadline, we request that you provide any views you may have by close of play on Friday 18 May 2012.
